They are looking for:

Accounting Associate

Belgrade

Position will be responsible for the day-to-day controller functions of various partnerships (as detailed below). The individual will work as a junior member of a team-servicing clients, will have direct communications with the client and, with the team, have the objective of being viewed as an extension to its client’s finance organization.

Skills required:

  • Financial accounting and reporting related experience
  • Industry and/or partnership accounting experience helpful
  • Good Written and verbal communications skills in English
  • Highly motivated with ability to multitask
  • ACCA or track encouraged and would be considered as an advantage

Resposibilities:

Fund and Partner Accounting

  • Assistance with Journal Entries
  • Fund financial statements preparation with footnotes and supporting schedule
  • Partner capital balances preparation
  • Fund and partner cash flows and IRR’s preparation
  • Preparing Waterfall calculations
  • Coordinate and support the audit

Cash Management and Operations

  • Capital Calls and Distribution Allocations preparation
  • Facilitate and monitor cash movements
  • Cash forecasting and budgeting
  • Cash and Brokerage reconciliations
  • Wire requests preparation

Portfolio Accounting

  • Track portfolio company transactions (purchases, income, liquidity)
  • Portfolio modeling and valuation support
  • Investment structures (hold co’s, blockers, tax withholding, etc)
  • Investment IRR’s

General Partner and carried Interest

  • Partner Participant allocations
  • Vesting calculations
  • Reporting and operations
